Chicken Run Car Show 2021

Review:  Chicken Run in Windham NY, Really good car show for Cancer Patients, well attended and organized.  Best Goodie Bag ever.  Only drawback is the parking lot you enter in is gravel and dusty; then you ae placed on grass, which is nice.  All types of vehicles are welcome.  Get there at least an hour early.

Highly Recommended

Simpson-Gaus Car Show 2017 Kingston NY

Review:  Attended the Simpson-Gaus Car Show in Kingston NY. The car show was well attended especially considering the unusual location of a Funeral Home...Yes a Funeral Home. Entry fee was $10.00 per vehicle Food and Drink was provided consisting of Hamburgers and Hot Dogs and a T-Shirt was included as well. Seemed to be no limit on the Food, so you definitely got your monies worth. Trophies were handed out as well. Some may consider the space between vehicles inadequate, cars were parked close together which may be uncomfortable to some. Tents were allowed, which is good as the shade was minimal. All In all a good car show.

Tannersville NY Mountain Top Car Show 2017

Review: Attended the Tannersville Mountain Top Car Show, located in the Catskill Mountains NY.  Small town and they close the Main street to traffic we arrived and no real parking guides we took the lead from other attendees, the plus to that is we left ample space between the cars.  Shade is minimal so bring a tent or chairs with cover.  fee is $20.00 per car, a large goody bag is given out with snacks and water.  Live Bands play and bathrooms and Restaurants are available on the Main drag.  We had Lunch at the Last Chance Restaurant.  A review is on the Restaurant review page. Many trophies were given out.  The crowd was friendly and asked questions about the car.  All and All a good car show, Recommended.

Embalmer X Angry Orchard Car Show October 2017 Walden NY

Review: Much anticipated car show turned out to be an unorganized mess.  Cars backed up onto the public road.  Not enough parking and to top it off the people in charge were rude.  Event closed early because we were told they weren't making any money selling their booze.  Nice! $10.00 fee.

Not Recommended.

LakeSide Licks Thursday Night Cruise 2017 Highland NY

Review: Weekly Cruise-In held Thursday nights located at Lakeside Licks Ice Cream Parlor on Route 299.  Usually well attended, Food and Ice Cream available.  Music provided as well as ample seating.  Awards are given out a leader board is tallied at the end of the year and a prizes given.  Only complaint is the gravel parking lot which causes dust.  Don't know why its called Lakeside Licks as there is no Lake there.  Tip be careful on Route 299 esp. later in the year going West as Sunset blinds cars behind you so pull all the way to the right to avoid getting rear ended.  No fee.  Recommended.

Pine Plains NY FFA Car Show October 2017

Review: Pine Plains FFA (Future Farmers Of America), I didn't know what FFA was.  Car Show held at Stissing Mountain High School.  More Like a fair, Tractor Pulls, Food, Animals...the works.  Great family fun.  Trophies given more that enough  parking ample space between vehicles.  Bring Tent or Chair with cover very little shade.  $15.00 Entry fee.  Could have used an announcer on a PA system to tell you where all of the displays were and music.  Recommended.
