O.P. Fredericks Chestertown NY
Review: Was cruising down the Northway July 2021 when I decided to get off of the main highway at North Hudson and go South on State Route 9 instead glad I did the smell of pine trees was awesome a much more relaxed ride and surprisingly few pots holes, Road was actually smooth. Started to get hungry and at the intersection of State Route 9 and State Route 8 I saw O.P. Fredericks, place looked nice so I stopped. Initial impression was good place was full of people clean, friendly atmosphere, casual. I had the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich and a diet soda, excellent. The sandwich had a large piece of chicken breast fried just right with swiss and ham good bread and a great price.

Last Chance Restaurant Tannersville NY
Review: Ate here while attending the Mountain Top Car show in 2017. The Restaurant is attached to a cheese/ gift shop. Décor is rustic with farm tools and old photos on the wall, very nice. I had the Steak Sandwich and Muenster cheese open faced sandwich. My wife had Caesar Salad with chicken. Service was excellent with the waitress being very friendly and attentive. My meal was very good with the steak perfectly done. My wife said the salad was good but she did not like the seasoning on the chicken, mind you it wasn't bad but it wasn't her type of seasoning. Both serving sizes were more than adequate. Cost was as expected. Despite the seasoning on the chicken:

Spice Gyro and Kabab Lake George NY
Review: Discovered this place when at the Adirondack Nationals in Lake George this year (2017). Quite possibly the best Gyro I ever had. This is coming from a guy who has had many a Gyro from Queens, to the Bronx to New Jersey to all over the Hudson Valley. Owner was very friendly, a former NYC taxi driver. Give it a try you wont be sorry. It's the only one I have a hard time picking between here and Gyro King of the Bronx for the Best Gyro I've ever had. It's so close I cant choose. This place is attached to a gas station but don't let that dissuade you.

Sticks and Stones Schroon Lake NY
Been here twice food was really good the first time, OK the second, first time I had the Hungarian Mushroom Soup which was excellent and a Bacon Cheese Burger the beef was fresh and juicy as well as the lettuce and tomato being fresh, fries were excellent as well. My Wife Laura had the burger as well hers was equally excellent. Second time I had a Corn Chowder Soup which was quite good and the Rustic Ruben, my wife ordered the Schroon "Sangwich" both were disappointing. Especially the Schroon "Sangwich" it was like an Italian combo with what they said was parmesan mayo on a seven grain bread, while the cold cuts were good the mayo and seven grain bread just didn't go. Only Italian dressing on an Italian combo and the seven grain bread was overpowering, sorry. The Ruben was only ok. Parking lot is dirt so be forewarned your car will get dusty. All in all the burgers, soup and fries were great the sandwiches only so, so. Décor is Adirondack rustic, place is clean, bathrooms are clean as well. Prices were good. Staff Friendly.
